Creating Shortcuts to Siebel Records

A shortcut allows you or another user to click a link to navigate directly to a record. If the Siebel application is not running when you click the link for a shortcut, then you must first log in to the Siebel application.

To create a shortcut to a Siebel record  

1. In the Siebel application, locate and select the Siebel record for which you want to create a shortcut.

2. Select the URL content in the address field of the browser.

3. Copy and paste the URL content to another location, such as an email message or a document.

   The link for the shortcut is created at the location.
