Personalized Content Delivery Support for Content File Formats

Users can create content using a number of third-party content creation tools. The following file types are among the most common:

• Adobe Flash (SWF)
• Portable Network Graphics (PNG)
• Graphics Interchange Format (GIF)
• Photographic Experts Group (JPEG and JPG)

NOTE:  You can enable support for additional file formats such as Bitmap (BMP), Abode Acrobat (PDF), Word (DOC), PowerPoint (PPT and/or PPS), and Excel (XLS) by editing the IsSupportedFormat calculated field. However, these file formats are not recommended for creating content.

In order to view a document in Personalized Content Delivery, your computer must have the document's native application installed. For example, if you are trying to view a Microsoft Word 2000 document (.doc), Microsoft Word 2000 must reside on your computer.
