This image is a block diagram representation of a basic deployment. The image shows the four tiers of architecture with the sites external to Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center on top. The first tier consists of three blocks placed horizontally, Oracle Solaris 11 Package Repository, Oracle Knowledge Base, and Vendor Sites respectively. The second tier consists the Internet Access cloud. Data flows from the Oracle Solaris 11 Package Repository, Oracle Knowledge Base, and Vendor Sites to the Internet Access cloud. The third tier consists of an Enterprise Controller block which is connected to an optional customer managed database to it’s left. Data flows from the Internet Access cloud to the Enterprise Controller block. The fourth tier consists of a Proxy Controller block which is placed below the Enterprise Controller block. Data flows in both directions between the Enterprise Controller and the Proxy Controller. To the left of Proxy Controller block, you have an Agentless-Managed Assets block and to the right of Proxy Controller block you have an Agent-Managed Assets block. Data flows in both directions between the Proxy Controller to the Agentless-Managed Assets and to the Agent-Managed Assets.
