The image is a screen capture of the User Preferences Summary window, which displays the current settings for this user account. The window has a note that indicates this user has changed the default settings: "Note: The user has chosen to customize preferences." The window has these sections: Assigned Roles, Start Page Preferences, Display Preferences, Time Intervals, and Asset Default Tab. In the Assigned Roles section, the roles assigned to this user account are listed. The Start Page Preferences states "At every sign in, start me on the following view:" This image shows that the chosen view is All Assets. The Display Preferences section includes several subsections:
Options to include or exclude each of the following drawers in the Asset pane: Message Center, Plan Management, Reports, vDC Management, Assets, Libraries, Networks, and Administration.
Options to show or hide the following items in the Asset pane: incident badges, tooltips, and the operating system of a vServer.
A drop-down list of timezones for the jobs in the Jobs pane.
Option to disable simultaneous sessions. The default behavior is to allow a user to log in multiple times. This convenience can be a security risk.
Option to change the way the Assets are expanded or collapsed in the Assets pane. The Default option relies on the number of assets to determine whether the node is expanded or collapsed. You can chose the Expanded option to always show all assets or the Collapsed option to always show only the Asset Type.
Option to change whether alerts continue to be displayed after they have been resolved. The default action clears an alert after the problem is resolved.
The Time Interval section shows the duration of the Session Timeout, the Table Refresh Frequency, the Console Session Timeout, the Job Status Popup Duration, and the Connectivity Check Interval. The Asset Default Tab section is a two-column table, which lists each type of asset in the first column. For each asset type, the second column contains a drop-down list of each tab that is available in the center pane. By selecting one of these alternate tabs, the tab becomes the default view in the center pane when an asset of that type is selected.
