Working with Strategy Nodes

General

This displays information such as the name, type, and status of the strategy node. If a node is made Inactive, then it and all its child nodes are not included in the roll-up logic. You also define the tracking frequency - i.e., how often you want the data to be tacked for this particular strategy. If the tracking frequency is set to be non-recurring, it can only have one value. If it is recurring, the data could be tracked on a monthly or yearly basis.

Measures

On this tab you can specify measures for strategy nodes or metrics being tracked by this strategy node.

Projects

On this tab you can define the projects that are associated with this strategy.

Links

This tab displays separate tables for links to Ideas and Proposals. You can edit the ideas and proposals to which this node is linked.

Data

You can validate and recompute the data from this tab.

Chart

You can view/edit the financial chart display by editing the tracking dates and selecting cumulative or non-cumulative data from this tab.

Report

You can run a strategy roll-up report or a strategy detail report from this tab.

Documents

You can add (upload) a document from a local or network drive from this tab. You can also provide a link to an externally hosted document. A name, description, and document type (Finance, Policies, and Procedures, Other) of the added document are indicated for the added document.
