Oracle recommends using the same version of all Oracle Essbase portfolio products (Essbase, Administration Services, Oracle Hyperion Provider Services, and Oracle Essbase Studio) and components (server, client, runtime client, API, and JAPI).
If you are using JRE 6, the JavaFX 2.2.5 runtime for JDK6 runtime must be installed when launching the Administration Services console from a web browser, otherwise nonfunctional pop-ups are displayed and Administration Services does not launch.
The JavaFX 2.2.5 runtime for JDK6 can be downloaded from Oracle.

When an Essbase server is disconnected, options to create, edit, view, and generate Essbase server logs are greyed out.
After adding an Oracle Essbase server using a cluster name, Oracle Hyperion Provider Services must be running in order to execute a Data Preview on databases on that server.
You cannot copy and past Boolean attribute dimensions in Outline Editor.
In the Administration Services Online Help, in the topic “Database Properties Window—Modifications Tab”, under Related Commands, the getdbstats ESSCMD is listed. The correct related command is getdbinfo.
