This document highlights the major changes for Release 19.0.2 of Oracle Retail Xstore Suite.
Oracle Retail Xstore Suite 19.0.2 includes the products below.
Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service is a point-of-sale application that provides the capabilities to carry out day-to-day transactions and conduct daily store activities. Tasks such as scanning items, applying price adjustments, tendering, and printing receipts as well as processing returns and web orders can be performed. Store operations including opening the store, managing registers and tills, and closing the store can be handled through Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service.
As part of Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service, these release notes include information about Xstore Point of Service Mobile and Xenvironment.
Oracle Retail Xstore Office is a central web-based management console that provides for the effortless management of the data and configurations that empower your associates. The user interface within Oracle Retail Xstore Office provides streamlined functionality that guides users through configuration changes, data changes, and deployments. Granular security access can create a custom experience for users of all access levels. Multiple support tools and alerts enable IT leaders to take a proactive approach to managing multiple installations.

This section describes the functional enhancements that have been added to Xstore Suite 19.0.2:
An additional check for tax free shopping has been implemented in Xstore POS so that tax free invoices can not be issued for Northern Ireland residents, since Northern Ireland is not eligible for Tax Free Shopping.
The following functional enhancements have been implemented for the Country Pack Poland.
The following functional enhancements have been implemented for the Country Pack Portugal.
The Customer Good Category field has been implemented in the request TFI message to Fintrax, against each item. The new legal requirements for Tax Free in Portugal have been implemented.
Xstore POS verifies the series validation code (ATS) during fiscal transactions, so that the code can be printed on the receipt.
Xstore POS prints the ATCUD code on receipts (standard and luxury receipts) for both fatura simplificada (FS) and fatura completa (FT) as well as returns (Nota De Credito CB) and shipping documents.
Additionally, Xstore POS generates and prints a QR code on receipts (standard and luxury receipts) for both fatura simplificada (FS) and fatura completa (FT) transactions as well as return (Nota De Credito CB) transactions.
The following functional enhancements have been implemented for the Country Pack France.
The following functional enhancements have been implemented for the Country Pack Italy.
The Lottery function has been implemented in Xstore POS. This function enables retailers to offer customers the possibility to join the lottery. Additionally, a sanity check has been implemented for the Lottery function.
Xstore POS has been changed to comply with fiscal printer Registratore Telematico (RT) version 2.0.
This section addresses the technical enhancements included in Oracle Retail Xstore Suite System Release 19.0.2.
Oracle Retail Xstore Suite Release 19.0 is supported for use with the following Middleware components:

Jetty 9.4.35
A defect fix is a modification to the base Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service code (for example, a bug fix, a performance enhancement, a functional enhancement, or a technical enhancement). The file named DEFECT MODULE XREF Xstore Suite 19.0.2.xls lists every defect number and the modules and scripts that are added or modified in the release. The file is posted to My Oracle Support at the following location: Oracle Retail Defect Document Listings (Doc ID: 2021275.1).

Oracle Retail VAR Applications
The following restrictions and provisions only apply to the programs referred to in this section and licensed to you. You acknowledge that the programs may contain third party software (VAR applications) licensed to Oracle. Depending upon your product and its version number, the VAR applications may include:
(i) the MicroStrategy Components developed and licensed by MicroStrategy Services Corporation (MicroStrategy) of McLean, Virginia to Oracle and imbedded in the MicroStrategy for Oracle Retail Data Warehouse and MicroStrategy for Oracle Retail Planning & Optimization applications.
(ii) the Wavelink component developed and licensed by Wavelink Corporation (Wavelink) of Kirkland, Washington, to Oracle and imbedded in Oracle Retail Mobile Store Inventory Management.
(iii) the software component known as Access Via™ licensed by Access Via of Seattle, Washington, and imbedded in Oracle Retail Signs and Oracle Retail Labels and Tags.
(iv) the software component known as Adobe Flex™ licensed by Adobe Systems Incorporated of San Jose, California, and imbedded in Oracle Retail Promotion Planning & Optimization application.
You acknowledge and confirm that Oracle grants you use of only the object code of the VAR Applications. Oracle will not deliver source code to the VAR Applications to you. Notwithstanding any other term or condition of the agreement and this ordering document, you shall not cause or permit alteration of any VAR Applications. For purposes of this section, "alteration" refers to all alterations, translations, upgrades, enhancements, customizations or modifications of all or any portion of the VAR Applications including all reconfigurations, reassembly or reverse assembly, re-engineering or reverse engineering and recompilations or reverse compilations of the VAR Applications or any derivatives of the VAR Applications. You acknowledge that it shall be a breach of the agreement to utilize the relationship, and/or confidential information of the VAR Applications for purposes of competitive discovery.
The VAR Applications contain trade secrets of Oracle and Oracle's licensors and Customer shall not attempt, cause, or permit the alteration, decompilation, reverse engineering, disassembly or other reduction of the VAR Applications to a human perceivable form. Oracle reserves the right to replace, with functional equivalent software, any of the VAR Applications in future releases of the applicable program.
