Working with Individual Positions (WPOS)
Purpose: Use the Individual Position table to define valid position codes for individuals within organizations who purchase your merchandise. You must specify a position for each individual.

System control value: The Individual Position for Consumer Customers (G02) system control value plays a role in determining when you must specify an individual in order entry, or if the system should create and/or assign an individual automatically. See the Individuals Required in Order Entry (E01) system control value.
Download to web storefront: The Downloading B2B E-Commerce Static Tables (BBED) menu option allows you to extract individual positions for download to the web storefront.

How to display this screen: Enter WPOS in the Fast path field at the top of any menu or select Work with Individual Positions from a menu.

Department required |
Indicates whether a department is required, optional, or invalid for individuals in this position. Valid values are: Not Allowed = You cannot specify a department for this position. Required = Department is required for this position. blank = Department is optional for this position. Display-only. |

Create a new position |
Select Create to advance to the Create Individual Position Screen. |
Change a position |
Select Change for a position to advance to the Change Individual Position Screen. You can change the Description or the Department required fields on this screen. See Create Individual Position Screen for field descriptions. |
Delete a position |
Select Delete for a position to delete it. Note: The system allows you to delete a position regardless of whether there are individuals assigned to it. |
Display a position |
Select Display for a position to advance to the Display Individual Position Screen. You cannot change any information on this screen. See Create Individual Position Screen for field descriptions. |

How to display this screen: Select Create at the Work with Individual Position Screen.
