Capture Operator Statistics (D61)

Purpose: Use this screen to define whether the system collects various statistics for Order Entry operators so that you can monitor and evaluate operator performance and accuracy.

Yes/no field: Select this field to collect Order Entry operator statistics automatically; otherwise, leave it unselected.

To view operator statistics:

• select Operator Stats at the Select Customer Sold To for Order screen while you are in Order Entry, or

• enter DOPR in the Fast path field at the top of any menu screen, or

• select the Display Operator Statistics option from the menu.

Two sets of statistics are captured: one for the operator's current session and the other for the operator's daily totals. Information is summarized across companies so that a single set of statistics is collected for operators who enter orders for different companies.

If you are looking at the operator statistics from outside Order Entry, you will see daily totals only because the operator has no current session and no current totals.

Statistics are captured for:

• Session length

• Number of orders accepted

• Number of orders rejected

• Total number of items ordered

• Average order amount

• Average number of items per order

• Average number of lines per order

The system updates the Operator Statistics Inquiry screen each time the operator selects Accept or Accept/Add Rcp. to accept an order or Reject to reject an order.

Note: Operator statistics are not tracked for orders you receive through the Generic Order Interface (Order API).
