Require Due Date for Non-inventory Items on Held Purchase Orders (F21)

Purpose: Use this screen to define whether the Due date field is a required field for non-inventory items on a held purchase order.

Yes/No field: Select if you want the Due date field to be a required field for non-inventory items on a held purchase order.

An error message indicates if you do not enter a due date for non-inventory items on a held purchase order:

Due date is required.

The Due date field is always required for inventory items on a held or open purchase order.

Leave this field unselected if you want the Due date field to be an optional field for non-inventory items on a held purchase order.

An error message displays when you select Approve to approve a held purchase order and the Due date field does not contain a date:

Due dates are required to approve PO.
