An asset is property or an item of value that your company owns.
The following procedures related to assets and asset management are included in this topic:

You can display asset details by using the Assets list.
To display asset details
Tap the Side Menu icon on the application banner, and then tap Assets to display the following:
The Assets list and details for the selected asset in the right pane or work area.
A list in the left pane in which you can select the related items for assets.
Tap an asset in the Assets list.
All details for the selected asset appear below the list in the work area.
To view the related items for the selected asset, tap the following names in the list in the left pane:
Measurements. Shows the measurement information for the asset. For more information, see the following:
Warranty. Shows the warranty information for the asset. For more information, see "Viewing Warranty Information for an Asset".
Entitlements. Shows the entitlement information for the asset. For more information, see "Viewing Entitlement Information for an Asset".
Complete the following procedure to view the measurement information for an asset. You might view measurement information to record readings for utility meters or to measure hydraulic pressure.
To view the measurement information for an asset
Tap the Side Menu icon on the application banner, and then tap Assets to display the following:
The Assets list and details for the selected asset in the right pane or work area.
A list in the left pane in which you can select the related items for assets.
Tap an asset in the Assets list.
All details for the selected asset appear below the list in the work area.
Tap Measurements in the list in the left pane.
All the measurements associated with the asset appear in the work area, and all details for the selected asset appear above the Asset Measurements list in the work area.
Tap the asset measurement that you want to view.
For tasks such as taking a utility meter reading or measuring hydraulic pressure, you must record an asset reading.
To capture a reading for an asset
Tap the Side Menu icon on the application banner, and then tap Assets to display the following:
The Assets list and details for the selected asset in the right pane or work area.
A list in the left pane in which you can select the related items for assets.
Tap an asset in the Assets list.
All details for the selected asset appear below the list in the work area.
Capture a new asset reading as follows:
Tap Measurements in the list in the left pane.
All the measurements associated with the asset appear in the work area, and all details for the selected asset appear above the Asset Measurements list in the work area.
Tap a measurement, and then tap the plus (+) icon in the work area to capture a new reading.
Enter the information for the new reading in the fields that appear, and then save the record.
Complete the following procedure to view the warranty information for an asset.
To view the warranty information for an asset
Tap the Side Menu icon on the application banner, and then tap Assets to display the following:
The Assets list and details for the selected asset in the right pane or work area.
A list in the left pane in which you can select the related items for assets.
Tap an asset in the Assets list.
All details for the selected asset appear below the list in the work area.
Tap Warranty in the list in the left pane.
All the warranties associated with the asset appear in the work area, and all details for the selected asset appear above the Warranties list in the work area.
Tap the warranty that you want to view.
Complete the following procedure to view the entitlement information for an asset.
To view the entitlement information for an asset
Tap the Side Menu icon on the application banner, and then tap Assets to display the following:
The Assets list and details for the selected asset in the right pane or work area.
A list in the left pane in which you can select the related items for assets.
Tap an asset in the Assets list.
All details for the selected asset appear below the list in the work area.
Tap Entitlements in the list in the left pane.
All the entitlements associated with the asset appear in the work area, and all details for the selected asset appear above the Entitlements list in the work area.
Tap the entitlement that you want to view.
