Checking Projects In to the Siebel Server

This task is a step in Process of Modifying Siebel Objects.

After you verify changes, you must check in to the development server any projects that reference the objects you modify. Use the following guidelines when you check in projects:

  • Test objects before you check them in.
  • Because other developers might depend on your configuration, it might be necessary for you to check in projects before your work is complete.

For more information, see About the Local Development Environment.

To check projects in to the Siebel Server

  1. Choose the Tools menu, and then the Check In menu item.
  2. In the Check In dialog box, click Options.
  3. To validate projects, click Validate in the Check In dialog box.

For more information, see Viewing Differences Between Your Local Repository and the Server Repository.
