Changing Information for the Dispatch Board Gantt Chart (High-Interactivity Client)

By default, activities appear on the Gantt chart of the Dispatch Board. You can show other information needed for decision-making on the Gantt chart. In the following example task, you configure the Gantt chart to display account names instead of activities. For more information about performing configuration tasks with Siebel Tools, see Using Siebel Tools.

This task is a step in Process of Configuring the Dispatch Board (High-Interactivity Client).

To change the information for the Dispatch Board Gantt chart

1. Log in to Siebel Tools as an administrator.
2. Lock the FS Dispatch Board project for editing.
3. In the Object Explorer, navigate to Applet, and query for the FS DB Planned GanttChart AX Applet.
4. Navigate to Applet, then Applet User Prop, and query for X-Foreground Text Field.
5. Change the Value field to the value that you require.

   In this example, the value is Account Name.

   NOTE:  You can also enter values of Priority and Type.

6. Compile the FS DB Planned GanttChart AX Applet, and replace the Siebel Repository File (SRF).
7. Restart the client, and view the changes on the Dispatch Board.

   The names of the accounts and not the names of the activities appear on the Gantt chart.
