About the Action Pane

You can access the individual Action Pane controls in one of the following ways:

• Click on the appropriate icon on the Applications Toolbar.

• From the application-level menu, choose View, then Action Pane.

The menu items will be checked if the corresponding pane is open.

The state of the Action Pane is retained across your sessions. For example, if you had the Action Pane open in Task mode when you exited the application on Monday night, the Action Pane will open in Task mode when you log in on Tuesday morning. The same action occurs if the mode was Search or iHelp.
