Viewing Product Focus in Siebel Pharma Handheld

With the introduction of allocation functionality, administrators allocate products to sales representatives. Sales representatives can view the product allocation using the Product Focus view. For more information about the allocation functionality, see Siebel Life Sciences Guide.

The Product Focus view has four tabs as follows:

• Samples
• Sample Requests
• Products
• Promotional items

For sales representatives to be able to select samples at the time of call recording, the allocation period for the product must be active, and they must have some samples in their inventory.

To view samples allocated

1. Navigate to the Product Focus screen.
2. Tap on the Samples tab.

   The application displays allocations with a Start Date less than or equal to today's date and End Date is Null, or End Date is greater than or equal to today date plus 30.

   Some of the fields are described in the following table.

   Field	Comments
   Description	Description of the sample.
   Item	Displays the Lot number of the sample.
   Order	Enter a number that indicates where this product appears in the drop-down list. This field appears in the Details list, Samples list, and Promotional Items list. For example, if you want a product in the Details list to appear first, enter 1. If this field is null for all products in the list, the products appear in alphabetical order.
   Sample	The products to be dropped as samples during contact and account calls.
   Stop Sampling	This is an allocation functionality related flag that can be set by the administrator.

You can view all sample requests allocated.

To view sample requests allocated

1. Navigate to the Product Focus screen.
2. Tap the Sample Requests tab to view the sample requests allocated.

You can view products allocated.

To view products allocated

1. Navigate to the Product Focus screen.
2. Tap the Products tab to view the products allocated.

You can view promotional items allocated.

To view promotional items allocated

1. Navigate to the Product Focus screen.
2. Tap the Promotional Items tab to view the promotional items allocated.
