In targeting, end users save the results of queries in a target list and then apply those saved lists to other views within the application. A target list typically consists of contacts or accounts and can be applied to various views and dialog boxes that contain lists of contacts or accounts. This topic describes how to create target lists using the account and professional targeting list views, which are unique to the Siebel Life Sciences application. These views present data such as best times to call, and prescriber habits that sales representatives typically want to query when creating their contact and account target lists. NOTE: The saved target list includes only those records that matched the query criteria when the query was generated. You should re-create your target lists periodically because data might have been modified or new contacts or accounts might have been added since you created the target list. For example, you must re-create your target lists after a territory realignment. |
