About Partner Programs

Brand owners can have multiple partner programs, each with its own requirements and processes. In Siebel PRM, partner programs allow brand owners to define each program's set of literature, terms and conditions, benefits, entitlements, and approval activities. Brand owners can also define characteristics such as activation date, expiration date, membership duration, and renewal period for each program.

Brand owners can group partner programs into tiers such as Silver, Gold, or Platinum. Brand owners can also create relationships between partner programs to define program prerequisites and addenda.

The brand owner sets up each partner program to allow partners to apply for membership. A partner program is a multi-organization enabled object that supports access control visibility.

Partner programs administration allows channel partners to apply for partner program membership on the PRM Portal. After the prospective partner has completed the application, a channel operations manager (brand owner) must review and approve or reject the application. If the application is approved, the channel operations manager then grant the new partner access to the program through the PRM Partner Portal.
