Partner Company Setup

To set up PRM for Consumer Goods, you can use your Siebel Business Application to create organizations, positions, and responsibilities for partner companies in the same way you create them for your own company. You must create a separate organization for each partner company, so it cannot view your company's data or other partners' data. For more information about setting up organizations, responsibilities, and positions, see Siebel Applications Administration Guide.

Alternatively, you can use the Siebel Partner Manager's Partner Administration screen to create partner organizations and to assign positions and responsibilities to the partner company. For more information, see Chapter 5, "Working with New Partners."

After setting up the appropriate organizations and responsibilities, you can enter partner employees, or you can have delegated administrators at the partner company enter partner employees.
