Reviewing Details for Benefits Determination

Benefit plans and associated benefits are automatically assigned to a case in Siebel Public Sector when an agent clicks the Eligibility button or Screening button in the Case form and when an agent uploads a benefits application that a citizen submits on a self-service Web site. To qualify for benefit plans, a household must met the specific criteria that a social service agency defines. Oracle Policy Automation compares household circumstances to this qualifying criteria, and the Decision Report view shows the results of this comparison.

The report in the Decision Report view shows details about benefits determination for the benefit plans for which household members are eligible and for the benefit plans for which household members are ineligible. Consequently, a case with no benefit plans can have a decision report if household members are ineligible for benefits. For information about designing decision reports, see Oracle Policy Modeling User's Guide on Oracle Technology Network.

NOTE:  For implementations applicable to release Innovation Pack 2015, Patchset 5 or later, decision reports are not available.

This task is a step in Process of Managing Benefits for Cases.
