Removing the SWSE Configuration

The SWSE Configuration Wizard removes the physical configuration from the SWSE. This task removes the eapps.cfg file and removes the Siebel application virtual directories that were created when you applied the SWSE logical profile. The virtual Web site containing the virtual directories is not deleted. This task automatically stops and restarts the Web server.

NOTE:  Alternatively, if you created the virtual directories in a non-default virtual Web site, such as Siebel, then you can delete the virtual directories by removing that virtual site. This action does not remove the eapps.cfg file.

This task is a step in Process of Removing Configuration Data.

To remove the SWSE configuration

  1. Start the SWSE Configuration Wizard, as described in Starting a Siebel Configuration Wizard.
  2. Choose the task Remove the SWSE Configuration, and click Next.
  3. Specify the name of the virtual Web site in which the Siebel virtual directories were created.
  4. Click the check box for Remove Selected Siebel Web Server Extension, and click Next.

NOTE:  When the task to remove the SWSE configuration is complete, the Web server is stopped and restarted automatically.
