Logging into an Account for the First Time
When you log in to an account for the first time using your username and temporary password provided to you by your administrator, you must reset your password and set your challenge questions.
Passwords must adhere to the following default password policy:
A password can contain the following character types as long as it has met the minimum character requirements:
- English Uppercase Characters (A-Z)
- English Lowercase Characters (a-z)
- Base 10 Digits (0-9)
- Non-alphanumeric Characters (for example, !, $, #, or ^)
- Unicode Characters
The minimum password character requirements require a minimum of eight characters that include at least:
- Two alphabet characters
- One Numeric Character
- One Alphanumeric Character
- One English Uppercase Character (A-Z)
- One English Lowercase Character (a-z)
- One Base 10 Digit (0-9)
A password cannot contain a user’s First Name, Last Name, or User ID.
A password expires after 180 days. A warning will be sent to a user 30 days before the expiration date to remind them to change their password.To log in to an account with new access information:
- Navigate to Oracle Access Manager with the link that has been provided to you by your administrator.
- Enter your login information into the required fields.
- Click Login.
- In the Password Management page, update your password by doing the following:
- In the Old Password field, enter the password that is currently associated with your login username.
- In the New Password field, enter the new password that you want associated with your login username.
- In the Confirm New Password field, enter the password that you entered in the New Password field.
- In the Password Management page, register your challenge questions by doing the following:
- In the Question menus, select your challenge questions.
- In the Answer fields, enter the answers to the corresponding questions.
- Click Submit.
Note: Wait five minutes before logging into an account after you have reset your password.
