47 UX One Role: Lease Administrator (Release 9.2 Update)

This chapter discusses:

47.1 Understanding the Lease Administrator UX One Role

The Lease Administrator role, and the associated UX One pages and components, enable users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding lease status, commencement journal entry processes, expiring leases, vacant units, and units that have recently been moved into.

  • Analyze lessee lease information.

  • Easily access Real Estate Management programs that enable users to manage leases.

You can use these role, pages, components, queries, grid formats, and form layouts as they are delivered, or you can modify them to more closely meet the requirements of your organization.

47.2 Prerequisites

Before using the Lease Administrator role (LEASADMJDE), and the components listed below, your system administrator must complete the steps to associate the user ID with the LEASADMJDE role.

After this setup is complete, the users will automatically see the main page for their role when they log in to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system for the first time.

47.2.1 Prerequisite Reading

Before using the Lease Administrator role, you should have a complete understanding of the components and applications that are accessible from the pages. 47.3 Using the Lease Administrator Role

You use the Lease Administrator Role to access the Lease Administrator page (P15003X|W15003XA).

47.3.1 UX One: Lease Administrator Page

The Lease Administrator page (P15003X|W15003XA) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding lease status, commencement journal entry processes, expiring leases, vacant units, and units that have recently been moved into.

  • Analyze lessee lease information.

  • Easily access Real Estate Management programs that enable users to manage leases.

To access the UX One Lease Administrator page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Lease Administrator role.

Watchlist Alerts

These alerts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the alerts are set up to use queries that are based on delivered demo data. Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements. Additionally, these watchlists have been set up with specific warning and critical threshold values. You can adjust these values to meet your requirements.

This table lists and describes the watchlist alerts that are available on the Lease Administrator page:

Watchlist Alert Description
Incomplete Lease Terms This alert tells users how many leases are still awaiting lease terms to be completed, and displays leases with a lease liability status lower than 10.

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work With Amortization Schedules form. The following grid formats ares available:

  • Basic

  • Simple

These form layouts are available:

  • Lease Liability Schedule

Commencement Journals Needed This alert tells users when lease commencement journal entries have not yet been created for a lease. The system displays leases with a lease liability status of 20 or 30.

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work With Amortization Schedules form. The following grid formats ares available:

  • Basic

  • Simple

These form layouts are available:

  • Lease Liability Schedule

Leases Set to Expire This alert tells users the number of leases that are set to expire. The system displays leases that have a space available date that is the system date through the next 60 days.

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work With Amortization Schedules form. The following grid formats ares available:

  • Basic

  • Simple

These form layouts are available:

  • Lease Liability Schedule

Moved In Within the Last Month This alert tells users how many units have been moved into within the last month. The system displays leases with a Move In Date in the last 30 days.

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work With Amortization Schedules form. The following grid formats ares available:

  • Basic

  • Simple

These form layouts are available:

  • Lease Liability Schedule

New Vacancies in Past Month This alert tells users how many new vacancies there have been in the past month. The system displays leases with a move out date in the last 30 days.

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work With Amortization Schedules form. The following grid formats ares available:

  • Basic

  • Simple

Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements.

Leases by Lease Classification by Unit Type (P15171X|W15171XC) Use this chart to view leases by lease classification and unit type.

This chart is based on the Work With Amortization Schedules program (P15171).

Leases by Likelihood to Exercise Option by Unit Type (P15171X|W15171XD) Use this chart to view leases by their likelihood to exercise option and by unit type.

This chart is based on the Work With Amortization Schedules program (P15171).

You use tasks to access EnterpriseOne programs and other UX One pages. These tasks are included in a springboard on the page.

Lease Master Use this task to access the Lease Master program (P1501, Version ZJDE0001).

    Note that the Equipment Lease and Property Lease grid formats have also been added to the Recurring Billing program, which is used with this form layout.

Recurring Billing Use this task to access the Recurring Billing program (P1502).
Manual Billing Use this task to access the Manual Billing program (P1511).
Unit Master Use this task to access the Unit Master program (P15217).
