16 UX One Role: Wine Cellar Manager (Release 9.2 Update)

This chapter discusses:

16.1 Understanding the Wine Cellar Manager UX One Role

The Wine Cellar Manager role, and the associated UX One pages and components, enable users to:

  • Monitor operations in the wine cellar to identify areas of risk.

  • Make informed decisions with better visibility into operations in the wine cellar.

The Wine Cellar Manager pages enable users to receive important alerts, analyze data, and act on the information they see.

Note:

The information provided for you in this documentation describes a specific UX One role, and the associated pages and components, that were delivered.

You can use these role, pages, components, queries, grid formats, and form layouts as they are delivered, or you can modify them to more closely meet the requirements of your organization.

16.2 Prerequisites

Before using the Wine Cellar Manager role (WINECLRJDE), and the components listed in this documentation, your system administrator must complete the steps to associate the user ID with the WINECLRJDE role.

After this setup is complete, the users who log in with this role will automatically see the pages for their role when they log in to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system.

16.2.1 Prerequisite Reading

Before using the Wine Cellar Manager role, you should have a complete understanding of the components and applications that are accessible from the pages. 16.3 Using the Wine Cellar Manager UX One Role

You use the Wine Cellar Manager role to access these UX One pages:

  • Wine Cellar Manager (P31B002X|W31B002XA)

  • Cellar Manager Exceptions (P31B002X|W31B002XB)

  • Cellar Manager Resources (P31B002X|W31B002XC)

16.3.1 UX One: Wine Cellar Manager Page

The Wine Cellar Manager page (P31B002X|W31B002XA) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding the operations and work orders in draft or active status.

  • Analyze operations, quantity moved to tanks, and quantity moved to virtual barrel tanks (VBTs).

  • Act quickly by easily accessing the Blend Management programs.

To access the UX One Wine Cellar Manager page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Wine Cellar Manager role.

Watchlist Alerts

These alerts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the alerts are set up to use queries that are based on delivered demo data. Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements. Additionally, these watchlists have been set up with specific warning and critical threshold values. You can adjust these values to meet your requirements.

This alert is based on the Operation Search - Search For Operations program (P31B94).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Search For Operation form.

Movement Operations This alert tells users the number of movement operations in active, actual, or closed status and within the date range specified on the advanced query.

This alert is based on the Operation Search - Search For Operations program (P31B94).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Search For Operation form.

Draft Work Orders This alert tells users the number of work orders in draft status in the winery.

This alert is based on the Work Order Search - Search for Work Order program (P31B95).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Search For Operation form.

Active Work Orders This alert tells users the number of work orders in active or actual status in the winery.

This alert is based on the Work Order Search - Search for Work Order program (P31B95).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Search For Operation form.

Move Quantity To VBTs (P31B123X|W31B123XB) Use this chart to review the quantity that is planned to be moved to VBTs.

16.3.2 UX One: Cellar Manager Exceptions Page

The Cellar Manager Exceptions page (P31B002X|W31B002XB) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding overdue operations, operations in error, failed blend tests, and operational or survey losses.

  • Analyze test results, End-Use Reservation (EUR) changes, operational gains and losses, and survey gains and losses.

  • Act quickly by easily accessing the Blend Management programs.

To access the UX One Cellar Manager Exceptions page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Wine Cellar Manager role. When you log in with this role, the system automatically displays the Wine Cellar Manager page. Click the Cellar Manager Exceptions task on the springboard to access the Cellar Manager Exceptions page.

Operations in Error This alert tells users the number of operations that are in error status.

This alert is based on the Operation Search - Search For Operations program (P31B94).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Search For Operations form.

Operations in Warning This alert tells users the number of operations that are in warning status due to an error in another operation.

This alert is based on the Operation Search - Search For Operations program (P31B94).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Search For Operations form.

Failed Blend Tests This alert tells users the number of operations with results that failed the test.

This alert is based on the Test Results Inquiry - Test Results Analysis program (P37902).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Test Results Inquiry form.

Survey Loss Over 100 This alert tells users the number of operations for which there is a survey loss greater than 100 units.

This alert is based on the Survey Gains Losses - Survey Gains Losses Inquiry program (P31B82).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Survey Gains Losses Inquiry form.

Operation Loss Over 100 This alert tells users the number of operations for which there is an operational loss greater than 100 units.

This alert is based on the Operational Gains Losses - Operational Gains Losses Inquiry program (P31B83).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Operational Gains Losses Inquiry form.

EUR Changes (P31B71X|W31B71XA) Use this chart to review a count of operations that resulted in a change to the EUR.

This chart is based on the Blend Transactions Inquiry - Blend Transactions Inquiry program (P31B71).

Survey Gain-Loss (P31B82X|W31B82XA) Use this chart to review either the quantities or the average of survey gain or loss on operations. Operations with no survey gain or loss are not included in the calculation.

This chart is based on the Survey Gains Losses - Survey Gains Losses Inquiry program (P31B82).

Additionally, you can use the drop-down menu on the top of the chart to change the data that the system displays. You can select:

  • Average Percentages

  • Quantities

  • Receive alerts regarding additive operations, additive quantity, operations without EUR, and operations with equipment.

  • Analyze consumable items approaching reorder point, additives to tanks, EUR history, and equipment usage.

  • Act quickly by easily accessing the Blend Management programs.

To access the UX One Cellar Manager Resources page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Wine Cellar Manager role. When you log in with this role, the system automatically displays the Wine Cellar Manager page. Click the Cellar Manager Resources task on the springboard to access the Cellar Manager Resources page.

The advanced query contains the list of consumables that are to be reported on. The report allows you to define a threshold that you consider to be the reorder point.

This chart is based on the F41021, F4102, and F0006 - Join business view (V41021UC).

Additives to Tanks (P31B99X|W31B99XC) Use this chart to review the quantity of additives from operations on tanks. The operations can have a status of active, actual, or closed. The range of actual start dates is specified in the advanced query.

This chart is based on the Operation Additives Inquiry - Operation Additives Inquiry program (P31B99).

EUR History (P31B71X|W31B71XB) Use this chart to review the quantities from closed operations of various EUR IDs.

This chart is based on the Blend Transactions Inquiry - Blend Transactions Inquiry program (P31B71).

Equipment Usage Count (P31B122X|W31B122XA) Use this chart to review the number of times a piece of equipment is used.
