24 UX One Role: Fulfillment Manager

This chapter discusses:

24.1 Understanding the Fulfillment Manager UX One Role

The Fulfillment Manager role, and the associated UX One pages and components, enable users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding order lines in fulfillment, service level rules, and unfulfilled lines.

  • Analyze unfulfilled items based on open orders, order score, promised delivery dates, and past dues.

  • Easily access various fulfillment management programs.

The Fulfillment Manager pages enable users to receive important alerts, analyze data, and act on the information they see.

Note:

The information provided for you in this documentation describes a specific UX One role, and the associated pages and components, that were delivered.

You can use these roles, pages, components, queries, grid formats, and form layouts as they are delivered, or you can modify them to more closely meet the requirements of your organization.

24.2 Prerequisites

Before using the Fulfillment Manager role (FULMGRJDE), and the components listed in this documentation, your system administrator must complete the steps to associate the user ID with the FULMGRJDE role.

After this setup is complete, the users will automatically see the main page for their role when they log in to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system for the first time.

24.2.1 Prerequisite Reading

Before using the Fulfillment Manager role, you should have a complete understanding of the components and applications that are accessible from the pages. Additional, essential information is provided in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Applications Fulfillment Management Implementation Guide. See Introduction to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fulfillment Management.

24.3 Using the Fulfillment Manager UX One Role

You use the Fulfillment Manager role to access these UX One pages:

  • Fulfillment Manager (P42W001X|W42W001XA)

  • Fulfillment Manager - SLR (P42W001X|W42W001XB)

24.3.1 UX One: Fulfillment Manager Page

The Fulfillment Manager page (P42W001X|W42W001XA) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding order lines in fulfillment and unfulfilled lines.

  • Analyze unfulfilled items based on open orders, order score, promised delivery dates, and past dues.

  • Act quickly by easily accessing the fulfillment management programs.

To access the UX One Fulfillment Manager page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Fulfillment Manager role.

Watchlist Alerts

These alerts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the alerts are set up to use queries that are based on delivered demo data. Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements. Additionally, these watchlists have been set up with specific warning and critical threshold values. You can adjust these values to meet your requirements.

This table lists and describes the watchlist alerts that are available on the Fulfillment Manager page:

Watchlist Alert Description
Order Lines in Fulfillment This alert tells users about the number of order lines that are in fulfillment.

This alert is based on the Fulfillment Workbench - Search program (P4277701, version ZJDE0002).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Fulfillment Workbench - Search form.

The following grid format is available:

  • Basic

Unfulfilled Lines Due in Future This alert tells users about the number of unfulfilled lines that are due in the next 7 days.

This alert is based on the Fulfillment Workbench - Search program (P4277701, version ZJDE0002).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Fulfillment Workbench - Search.

The following grid format is available:

  • Basic

Past Due Unfulfilled Lines This alert tells users about the number of unfulfilled lines that were due in the past 7 days.

This alert is based on the Fulfillment Workbench - Search program (P4277701, version ZJDE0002).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Fulfillment Workbench - Search.

The following grid format is available:

  • Basic

Past Due Unfulfilled Quantity by Item (P427770X|W427770XC) Use this chart to review the unfulfilled quantity by item for orders whose requested date is past their due date.

Unfulfilled Quantity by Promised Delivery Date (P427770X|W427770XD) Use this chart to review the unfulfilled quantity by promised delivery date.

24.3.2 UX One: Fulfillment Manager - SLR Page

The Fulfillment Manager - SLR page (P42W001X|W42W001XB) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding order lines and orders that have met service level rules.

  • Analyze order lines that do not meet service level rules, SLR overrides, releases by customer, and shipments in fulfillment.

  • Act quickly by easily accessing the fulfillment management programs.

To access the UX One Fulfillment Manager - SLR page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Fulfillment Manager role. When you log in with this role, the system automatically displays the Fulfillment Manager page. Click the Fulfillment Manager - SLR task on the springboard to access the Fulfillment Manager - SLR page.

Additionally, you can use the drop-down menu on the top of the chart to change the data that the system displays. You can select this option:

  • Order Level

    Use this chart to review the number of order line whose order service level rules were not met, by customer.

  • Line Level

    Use this chart to review the number of order lines whose service level rules were not met, by customer.

Fulfillment Quantity Shipped vs. Cancelled by Customer (P427770X|W427770XH) Use this chart to review the quantity shipped against the quantity cancelled during fulfillment, by customer.

This chart is based on the Fulfillment Workbench - Search program (P4277701).

Percentage of SLR Override by Customer (P427770X|W427770XF) Use this chart to review the percentage of service level rules that were overridden, by customer, for order lines.

This chart is based on the Fulfillment Workbench - Search program (P4277701).

Additionally, you can use the drop-down menu on the top of the chart to change the data that the system displays. You can select this option:

  • Order Level

    Use this chart to review the percentage of order service level rules that were overridden, by customer, for orders.

  • Line Level

    Use this chart to review the percentage of order service level rules that were overridden, by customer, for line orders.

Average Number of Releases by Customer (P427770X|W427770XI) Use this chart to review the average number of releases, by customer.

The system uses this formula to calculate the average number o releases:

Average count for each customer = Total Count/Total Orders

The Total Count and Total Orders are calculated for order by customer for which the fulfillment status is 'Released'.

Percentage of SLR Overridden by Reason Code (P427770X|W427770XG) Use this chart to review the percentage of service level rules that were overridden, by reason code.

This chart is based on the Fulfillment Workbench - Search program (P4277701).

Additionally, you can use the drop-down menu on the top of the chart to change the data that the system displays. You can select this option:

  • Order Level

    Use this chart to review the percentage of service level rules overridden by reason code or orders.

  • Line Level

    Use this chart to review the percentage of service level rules overridden by reason code or order lines.
