30 UX One Role: Grower Contract Manager (Release 9.2 Update)

This chapter discusses:

30.1 Understanding the Grower Contract Manager UX One Role

The Grower Contract Manager role, and the associated UX One pages and components, enable users to:

  • Monitor the status of contracts and the crops that they represent.

  • Compare current and planned estimates to anticipate shortfalls in the produce.

The Grower Contract Manager pages enable users to receive important alerts, analyze data, and act on the information they see.

Note:

The information provided for you in this documentation describes a specific UX One role, and the associated pages and components, that were delivered.

You can use these role, pages, components, queries, grid formats, and form layouts as they are delivered, or you can modify them to more closely meet the requirements of your organization.

30.2 Prerequisites

Before using the Grower Contract Manager role (GRWCONTJDE), and the components listed in this documentation, your system administrator must complete the steps to associate the user ID with the GRWCONTJDE role.

After this setup is complete, the users who log in with this role will automatically see the pages for their role when they log in to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system.

30.2.1 Prerequisite Reading

Before using the Grower Contract Manager role, you should have a complete understanding of the components and applications that are accessible from the pages. 30.3 Using the Grower Contract Manager UX One Role

You use the Grower Contract Manager role to access these UX One pages:

  • Grower Contract Manager (P40G001X/W40G001XA)

  • Grower Contract Manager Amount (P40G001X/W40G001XB)

30.3.1 UX One: Grower Contract Manager Page

The Grower Contract Manager page (P40G001X/W40G001XA) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding expiring and terminated contracts, and upcoming actions to be performed in a contract.

  • Analyze expiring contracts, current and planned estimates, receipts by supplier, contract harvests, and contracts completion.

  • Act quickly by easily accessing the Grower Management programs.

To access the UX One Grower Contract Manager page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Grower Contract Manager role.

Watchlist Alerts

These alerts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the alerts are set up to use queries that are based on delivered demo data. Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements. Additionally, these watchlists have been set up with specific warning and critical threshold values. You can adjust these values to meet your requirements.

This table lists and describes the watchlist alerts that are available on the Grower Contract Manager page:

Expiring Contracts This alert tells users the number of contracts that are about to expire.

This alert is based on the Contract Header Inquiry program (P43C02).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Contract Header form. The following form layout is available:

Terminated Contracts This alert tells users the number of contracts that have expired.

This alert is based on the Contract Header Inquiry program (P43C02).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Contract Header Inquiry form. The following form layout is available:

  • Contract Header

The following grid formats are available:

  • Basic

  • Simple

Upcoming Actions in Contracts This alert tells users the number of action date items that are associated with contracts.

This alert is based on the Contract Action Dates Inquiry program (P43C050).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Contract Action Dates Inquiry form.

The following grid format is available:

  • Basic

These charts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the charts are set up to render using queries that are based on delivered demo data. This chart is based on is the Contract Receipts Inquiry program (P40G210).

Current and Planned Estimates by Contract Block (P43C11AX/W43C11AXA) Use this chart to review the current and planned estimates for various contract blocks.

This chart is based on the Contract Details Inquiry program (P43C130).

Contract Harvests by (P43C11AX/W43C11AXB) Use this chart to review the contract harvests by percentage.

This chart is based on the Contract Details Inquiry program (P43C130).

Additionally, you can use the drop-down menu on the top of the chart to change the data that the system displays. You can select from these options:

30.3.2 UX One: Grower Contract Manager Amount Page

The Grower Contract Manager Amount page (P40G001X/W40G001XB) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding receipts with pending payments receipts with completed payments, and advance amounts paid.

  • Analyze the contracted and received quantity by supplier, contracted quantity by variety and supplier, and quantity received by variety and supplier.

  • Act quickly by easily accessing the Grower Pricing and Payments programs.

To access the UX One Grower Contract Manager Amount page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Grower Contract Manager role. When you log in with this role, the system automatically displays the Grower Contract Manager page. Click the Grower Contract Manager Amount task on the springboard to access the Grower Contract Manager Amount page.

Paid Advances This alert tells users the number of contracts for which an advance amount has been paid.

This alert is based on the Advance Payments Inquiry program (P40G110).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Advance Payments Inquiry form. The following grid format is available:

Price Not Approved This alert tells users the number of contracts for which the associated price is not approved.

This alert is based on the Contract Elements Inquiry program (P43G120).
