48 UX One Role: Property Manager (Release 9.2 Update)

This chapter discusses:

48.1 Understanding the Property Manager UX One Role

The Property Manager role, and the associated UX One pages and components, enable users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding critical dates, vacancies, and other property-related activities.

  • Analyze vacancy details and tenant information.

  • Easily access real estate inquiry programs.

The Property Manager pages enable users to receive important alerts, analyze data, and act on the information they see.

Note:

The information provided for you in this documentation describes a specific UX One role, and the associated pages and components, that were delivered.

You can use these role, pages, components, queries, grid formats, and form layouts as they are delivered, or you can modify them to more closely meet the requirements of your organization.

48.2 Prerequisites

Before using the Property Manager role (PROPMGRJDE), and the components listed below, your system administrator must complete the steps to associate the user ID with the PROPMGRJDE role.

After this setup is complete, the users will automatically see the main page for their role when they log in to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system for the first time.

48.2.1 Prerequisite Reading

Before using the Property Manager role, you should have a complete understanding of the components and applications that are accessible from the pages. Additional, essential information is provided in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Applications Real Estate Management Implementation Guide. See Introduction to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Real Estate Management.

48.3 Using the Property Manager UX One Role

You use the Property Manager role to access these UX One pages:

  • Property Manager (P15001X|W15001XA)

  • Billing (P15001X|W15001XB)

  • Lease Management (P15001X|W15001XC)

  • Sales (P15001X|W15001XD)

48.3.1 UX One: Property Manager Page

The Property Manager page (P15001X|W15001XA) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding critical dates, vacancies, insurance and mortgage expiration dates, and late fees.

  • Analyze vacancies, tenants, stack plan, invoices, and customer information.

  • Access programs to quickly and easily act on the information that is displayed on the page.

To access the UX One Property Manager page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Property Manager role.

Watchlist Alerts

These alerts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the alerts are set up to use queries that are based on delivered demo data. Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements. Additionally, these watchlists have been set up with specific warning and critical threshold values. You can adjust these values to meet your requirements.

This table lists and describes the watchlist alerts that are available on the Property Manager page:

Leases Set to Expire This alert tells users about leases that are due to expire.

This alert is based on the Work with Leases program (P1501).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work with Leases form. The following form layouts are available:

Upcoming Log Critical Dates This alert tells users about critical dates for upcoming logs.

This alert is based on the Work with Log Details Critical Dates program (P15204).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work with Log Details Critical Dates form. The following form layout is available:

  • Lease Master Revision - Layout

Upcoming Legal Clause Critical Dates This alert tells users about upcoming critical dates regarding any legal clause.

This alert is based on the Legal Clause Critical Dates Inquiry program (P1570S).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Legal Clause Critical Dates Inquiry form.

Options to Expire This alter tells users about the options that are soon to expire.

This alert is based on the Work With Legal Clauses program (P1570).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work With Legal Clauses form. The following form layout is available:

  • Clause Amount Revisions Layout

Open AR Over 90 Days This alert tells users about receivables open for more than 90 days.

This alert is based on the Work with Tenant Ledger Inquiry program (P15222).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work with Tenant Ledger Inquiry form. The following form layout is available:

  • Tenant Ledger Invoice Entry

Open AR Over $20000 This alert tells users about open receivables that are more than or equal to $20,000.

This alert is based on the Work with Tenant Ledger Inquiry program (P15222)

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work with Tenant Ledger Inquiry form. The following form layout is available:

  • Tenant Ledger Invoice Entry

Insurance Dates to Expire This alert tells users about insurance policies that are soon to expire.

This alert is based on the Work with Log Detail Critical Dates program (P15204)

When you click the alert, the system displays the Work with Log Detail Critical Dates form. The following form layout is available:

  • Lease Master Revision - Layout

Mortgage Dates Set to Expire This alert tells users about any mortgage dates that are about to expire.

This alert is based on the Work with Log Detail Critical Dates program (P15204).

New Tenants Moved In This alert tells users about any new tenants that have moved in.

48.3.2 UX One: Billing Page

The Billing page (P15001X|W15001XB) enables users to:

  • Receive alerts regarding recent billings, open account receivables, unapplied cash receipts, unposted entries, and late fees.

  • Analyze rent by billing code, billing amounts, monthly and annual rent per square foot.

  • Access programs to quickly and easily act on the information that is displayed on the page.

To access the UX One Billing page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Property Manager role. When you log in with this role, the system automatically displays the Property Manager page. Click the Billing task on the springboard to access the Billing page.

To access the UX One Sales page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Property Manager role. When you log in with this role, the system automatically displays the Property Manager page. Click the Sales task on the springboard to access the Sales page.
