Figure 1 shows that the Network Service Orchestration solution comprises UIM, ASAP, and Design Studio. The solution interacts with Application Orchestration and third-party VNF managers. UIM manages the inventory statuses of VNFs and network services. ASAP interacts with Application Orchestrator to activate and deactivate the VNFs and network services. Design Studio defines specifications and properties for VNFs, network services, and their hierarchical and related components.
