Steps:
Open the WordPad Training module.
Double-click the WordPad Training module to open it.
Step 1Expand the outline using the toolbar menu.
Click the Expand button.
Step 2Display the Broken Links toolpane.
Click the View menu.
Step 3Point to the Panes command.
Step 4Click the Broken Links command.
Step 5Notice that the Broken Links toolpane indicates three missing documents.
The first deleted document is the Using Help section, which was a new document linked to the Document Basics module. A new document that has never been checked into the server is not recoverable and appears as "Missing document" in the outline and Broken Links toolpane.
Step 6The other deleted documents are the Saving Documents and Inserting Dates and Objects sections, which are under version control.
The names of deleted documents under version control that have not been purged by the administrator appear in the outline and Broken Links toolpane. These documents are recoverable.
Step 7Select the second broken link in the outline.
Click the Missing document link.
Step 8The deleted document was never under version control and is not recoverable. You will remove the "Missing document" link from the outline.
Step 9Delete the link to the missing document using the toolbar button.
Click the Delete Link button.
