Format a Report


After completing this topic, you will be able to determine how the report is formatted.


Steps:

  1. Change the format of the report to a tab-delimited report.

     

    Click the Format list.

  2. Click the Tab-delimited list item.

  3. Change the persistence to save the default format.

     

    Click the Persistence list.

  4. Click the Save list item.

    Step 4
  5. Preview the report.

     

    Click the View this report link.

  6. Run the report for Try It! mode.

     

    Click the Run button.

  7. The report opens in your browser.

  8. We are using the File, Save As command in the browser to save the report as a text file with the name User report.

  9. There is no return link in a tab-delimited or XML report.

     

    You must use the browser's Back button or Recent Pages list to return to the Knowledge Center.

  10. We have opened the tab-delimited report in Microsoft Excel and adjusted the column widths.

     

    You can use the application's formulas to apply other statistics to the data.
