Change Paragraph Indents and Spacing


After completing this topic, you will be able to change paragraph indents and spacing in a web page.


Steps:

  1. Click in the Portrait paragraph text under the Orientation heading.

     

    Click in the Portrait text.

  2. Increase the indent using the toolbar button.

     

    Click the Increase Indent button.

  3. Increase the indent for the Landscape paragraph.

     

    Click in the Landscape text.

  4. Click the Increase Indent button.

  5. Select the entire bulleted list at the top of the web page.

     

    Click in the Orientation bullet text.

  6. Press the [Shift] key and click in the Paper Size bullet text.

  7. Use the Spacing button on the toolbar to add 6 points of After spacing between bulleted items.

     

    Click the Spacing button.

  8. Click in the After field.

  9. Enter the desired information into the After: field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "6"
    .

  10. Click the OK button.

  11. The Web Page Editor applied 6 points of spacing after each bulleted list item.

     

    Notice the Spacing after element in the Direct formatting category in the Style Inspector.
