After completing this topic, you will be able to set remediation levels for selected topics.
Steps:
Change the remediation for the selected topic to include Levels 2 and 3 only.
Click in the Know It Remediation field.
Step 1Display the list of remediation levels.
Click the Know It Remediation list button.
Step 2Select a checkbox to include a remediation level or clear a checkbox to remove a remediation level.
Click the Level 1 option to remove it.
Step 3Click outside the list to close the remediation levels list.
Step 4Remove the Level 2 remediation from the Opening a Document and Printing a Document topics.
Click the Opening a Document topic.
Step 5Press the [Ctrl] key and click the Printing a Document topic.
Step 6Click in the Know It Remediation field.
Step 7Display the remediation level list.
Click the Know It Remediation list button.
Step 8Remove the Level 2 remediation level from the selected topics.
Click the Level 2 option.
Step 9Click outside the list to close the remediation level list.
Step 10The remediation level setting is applied to both topics.
Step 11We have selected all of the topics in the Creating and Opening Documents section.
Step 12Notice that the Know It Remediation field is blank for the selected topics. Because the topics are assigned different values, no value appears in the Properties toolpane.
Step 13Click in the Know It Remediation field.
Step 14Display the remediation levels list for the selected topics.
Click the Know It Remediation list button.
Step 15Levels 1 and 2 are grayed out since they are not common to all selected topics. Level 3 is active because it is common to all selected topics.
Step 16For the selected topics, enable Levels 2 and 3 only.
Click the Level 1 option.
Step 17Click the Level 2 option.
Step 18Click the Level 2 option again.
Step 19Click outside the list to close the remediation levels list.
