Steps:
Select the parent document to which you want to link a new section.
Click the Applying Formatting module.
Step 1Use the menu to link a new section to the Applying Formatting module.
Click the Link menu.
Step 2Click the New Section command.
Step 3Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter "Formatting Paragraphs".
Step 4Press [Enter].
Step 5Link a new section to the Document Basics module.
Click the Document Basics module.
Step 6You can also link a new section using the context menu or the toolbar. In this example, we will use the toolbar.
Click the Link New Section button.
Step 7Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter "Creating and Opening Documents".
Step 8Press [Enter].
Step 9You can link a section to a module or a section. Link a new section to the Creating and Opening Documents section.
Step 10Click the Link New Section button.
Step 11Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter "Templates".
Step 12Press [Enter].
Step 13Notice that the icon for the parent document, the Creating and Opening Documents section, has changed from a blue page to a blue book now that a child document links to it.
