Amplify a Sound Selection

After completing this topic, you will be able to amplify a sound selection.

Steps:

1. The sound that you just inserted does not match the sound level of the existing sound in the web page. You want to increase the sound level of the selected sound segment.

    

   Click the Options button.

   Step 1

2. Click the Amplify command.

   Step 2

3. You can change the amplification using the slider or by entering a value into the Amplify spinbox.

    

   Double-click the Amplify field.

   Step 3

4. Enter the desired information into the Amplify field. Enter

    a valid value
    e.g.
    "150"
   .
   Step 4

5. Click the OK button.

   Step 5

6. After changing amplification, you should play the entire recording to see if the edited sound matches the rest of the recorded sound.

    

   Since it is difficult to match sound levels, it is often less time-consuming to re-record the script.

   Step 6
