Steps:
Delete the "file" glossary term.
Step 1Select the row for the "file" glossary term to be deleted.
To select the entire row, click the selection box to the left of the "file" glossary term.
Step 2Delete the selected glossary term.
Click the Edit menu.
Step 3Click the Delete command.
Step 4The "file" glossary term is deleted from the WordPad Terms glossary.
Step 5Save the changes made to the glossary using the toolbar button.
Click the Save button.
Step 6Because you have changed the glossary, you should update the glossary links.
Click the Edit menu.
Step 7Click the Update Glossary Links command.
Step 8View the activity log for the Glossary Update.
Click the View activity log link.
Step 9Close the activity log.
Click the Close button.
Step 10Click the OK button.
Step 11Switch to the WordPad Training outline.
Click the WordPad Training tab.
Step 12Notice the change to the text "file" in the Concept pane. The glossary link is removed for the deleted term.
Step 13Switch to the WordPad Terms glossary.
Click the WordPad Terms glossary tab.
Step 14Undo the glossary deletion using the toolbar button.
Click the Undo button.
Step 15Close the WordPad Terms glossary.
Click the Close button.
Step 16Because you changed the glossary, you are prompted if you want to save the glossary and update the links or just save the glossary without updating the links.
Step 17Save the changes made to the glossary and update the glossary links.
Click the Save the glossary and update the links option.
Step 18Click the OK button.
Step 19Click the OK button to confirm the update.
Step 20The glossary link appears again for the term "file" in the Concept pane.
