Format Image Styles


After completing this topic, you will be able to format image styles in the style sheet.


Steps:

  1. Add and format an image style.

     

    Click the Item menu.

  2. Click the Image button.

  3. Enter the desired information into the Style name field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "Image 1"
    .

  4. Press [Enter].

    Step 4

  5. The default alignment for images is no alignment, which places the image on the baseline where it is inserted, with no text wrapping.

     

    This alignment is best suited for inserting small images, such as icons and buttons, within a line of text.

    Step 5

  6. View a right aligned image.

     

    Click the Align Right button.

    Step 6

  7. The image appears on the right side of the page and the text wraps around the left side of the image.

  8. Left align the image.

     

    Click the Align Left button.

    Step 8

  9. The image appears on the left side of the page and the text wraps around the right side of the image.

     

    Applying an alignment setting is best suited for wrapping text around large images.

  10. Add left and right padding to the image.

     

    Click the Padding button.

  11. Add 6 points of padding on the left.

     

    Click in the Left field.

    Step 11

  12. Enter the desired information into the Left field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "6"
    .

  13. Add 12 points of padding on the right.

     

    Click in the Right field.

    Step 13

  14. Enter the desired information into the Right field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "12"
    .

  15. Click the OK button.

  16. Remove the Default setting from the style.

     

    Click the Make Default button to deselect it.

  17. Save the style sheet.

     

    Click the Save button.

  18. We have opened the Page Setup web page and applied the MyStyles style sheet.

     

    Apply the image style to the selected image.

     

    Click the Styles button.

  19. Click the Image 1 - Image list item.
