A Hidden field is hidden from view and does not allow for interaction but whose value is sent the server when the form is submitted.

The Hidden Field Properties dialog box contains these fields:

• Name: Name of the Hidden field
   
• Value: Value of the Hidden field

To create a Hidden Field:

1. On the Web Page Editor - Package toolbar, click  Hidden Field.
    
2. Type the name of the Hidden Field.
    
3. Type the value of the field to be sent to the server.
    
4. Click OK.
