Edit a Screenshot

After completing this topic, you will be able to edit a screenshot.

Steps:

1. Edit the screenshot using the default image editor.

    

   Click the Edit menu.

2. Point to the Screenshot Editing command.

   Step 2

3. Click the Edit Screenshot command.

   Step 3

4. The screenshot opens in Microsoft Paint, which is the default image editor set in the Options dialog box.

5. We used the rectangle tool to draw a box around the Settings options in the Ribbon.

   Step 5

6. Exit the image editor and save the changes.

    

   Click the Application menu.

   Step 6

7. Click the Exit command.

   Step 7

8. Click the Save button.

   Step 8

9. Notice the changes to the screenshot in the Topic Editor.

   Step 9

10. You can undo your editing changes to a screenshot.

     

    Click the Undo Edit screenshot button.
