Steps:
This is the outline containing the topics you want to convert to MP4 files.
Step 1Before publishing, make sure that the Delay time for all Explanation frames is not set to Infinite.
Step 2We have completed the first steps, which are to publish the content to a Player output and deploy the Player package on a web server.
Step 3To start the conversion, you navigate to the Player2Movie.exe file located in the UPK Developer installation folder.
You can double-click the file to launch the conversion tool.
Step 4The Player2Movie tool opens.
We entered the URL of the web folder containing the Player package.
Step 5The list of topics in the Player package appears after you click the Refresh button.
Step 6We have also specified an output folder in which to save the converted files.
Step 7Use the Outline Tree tab to view the topics in the outline hierarchy and select and deselect the topics to convert.
Step 8Use the Options tab to set options for video and sound.
Step 9Use the Command Line Help tab to view the syntax to run the conversion from a command line.
Step 10You can convert all of the topics in the Player package or limit the selection to specific topics.
Use the List of Topics or Outline Tree tabs to select and deselect the topics to convert.
Step 11We have selected two topics to convert.
Step 12After selecting the topics and setting recording options, you click the Go button to start the conversion.
Step 13The Recording window opens with the first topic.
The conversion tool captures the Introduction frame for the topic.
Step 14The conversion tool plays the topic in the Recording window and automatically records each frame.
Step 15The conversion tool also captures Explanation frames, if the delay time is not set to Infinite.
Step 16The conversion tool also captures End frames.
Step 17After recording a topic, the conversion tool automatically launches the next topic in the Recording window and starts to capture it.
Step 18After all topics are recorded, the Player2Movie window appears.
The Status column indicates that the topics are done.
Step 19The conversion process saved the converted topics in the output folder.
Each topic is converted to a single movie (.mp4) file.
Step 20We have launched the converted Bubble Defaults topic in a media player.
The movie plays the topic in See It! mode.
Step 21The topic continues playing in the media player.
Step 22The conversion also captured Explanation frames.
Step 23The movie files are completely self-contained and can be posted anywhere for viewing.
