You can delete a single frame or multiple consecutive frames. When you delete a single frame that contains Alternative Actions, you have the option to delete the frame and all of its actions or just the current action.
Delete Multiple Frames
You can select multiple consecutive frames in a path and delete them at the same time. You cannot delete a selection of non-consecutive frames, that is, frames that are not in consecutive order. When you delete a multiple frame selection that includes a frame with Alternative Actions, the frame and all actions on the frame, delete without prompting. If you delete a frame that rejoins an Alternative Path, the Alternative Path rejoins at the next available frame.
Exceptions
Multiple frame selection that includes a Decision frame or a frame that starts an Alternative Path prevents multiple frame deletion. However, you can delete consecutive frames within a Decision or Alternative Path.
You cannot delete a Start or End frame in the primary path. If a Start or End frame is included in the frame selection, it is not deleted, but the remaining frames are deleted.
You cannot delete the start frame of an Alternative Path. You can only delete the start frame of an Alternative Path by deleting the entire branch path using the Delete Path command or by selecting all of the frames in the branch and using the Delete Frames command. See Delete a Path for more information about deleting Alternative Paths.
To delete the current frame:
On the Delete menu, choose Frame(s).
If the frame contains Alternative Actions, you can choose to delete the frame and all actions or delete the selected action only.
Click Yes.
To delete multiple consecutive frames:
Select the first frame in the group of frames you want to delete.
Press SHIFT and click the last frame in the group of frames you want to delete.
Note: Do not select the End frame as your last frame as the Delete menu is not available for End frames.
The frames you clicked are selected, along with all frames in between them.
