Description

--require-password

The password for the sgdadmin user is required for each new VM instance.

The sgdadmin user is an SGD administrator user account that is used when deploying a VM instance.

The following deployment scripts are supported by default:

  • oracle-compute.sh, for the Oracle Compute Cloud Service.

  • amazon-ec2.sh, for the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) service.

Deployment scripts are located in the /opt/tarantella/var/deploymentscripts directory on an SGD host.

The external DNS hostname or public IP address is required for each new VM instance.

If this option is not specified, the system hostname is used.
