B.5 gateway config disable

Disables one or more SGD Gateway services.

Syntax

gateway config disable [ --services-reflection ]
                       [ --services-reflection-auth ]
                       [ --routes-http-redirect ]
                       [ --ipv6 ]

Description

Use the command line options to disable specific SGD Gateway services. You must specify at least one command-line option.

Note

After using this command to disable a service, you must restart the SGD Gateway to stop the service.

The following table shows the available options for this command.

Option

Description

--services-reflection

Disables unauthenticated access to the SGD Gateway reflection service.

By default, this service is disabled.

--services-reflection-auth

Disables authenticated access to the SGD Gateway reflection service.

By default, this service is disabled.

See Section C.11, “The Reflection Service” for more details about the SGD Gateway reflection service.

--routes-http-redirect

Disables the HTTP redirection service.

By default, this service is disabled.

--ipv6

Disables the IPv6 interface service. This service enables an SGD Gateway to bind to IPv6 interfaces, in addition to IPv4 interfaces.

By default, the IPv6 interface service is enabled for the Gateway.

Use the gateway config edit --binding command to unconfigure any IPv6 interfaces that the Gateway binds to.

Examples

The following example disables authenticated access to the SGD Gateway reflection service.

# /opt/SUNWsgdg/bin/gateway config disable --services-reflection-auth

The following example disables the IPv6 interface service for the Gateway. The Gateway is reconfigured to listen for incoming proxy connections using all IPv4 addresses only on port 443.

# /opt/SUNWsgdg/bin/gateway config disable --ipv6
# /opt/SUNWsgdg/bin/gateway config edit --binding *:443
