B.7 gateway config enable

Enables one or more SGD Gateway services.

Syntax

gateway config enable [ --services-reflection ]
                      [ --services-reflection-auth ]
                      [ --routes-http-redirect ]
                      [ --ipv6 ]

Description

Use the command line options to enable specific SGD Gateway services. You must specify at least one command-line option.

Note

After using this command to enable a service, you must restart the SGD Gateway to start the service.

The following table shows the available options for this command.

Option

Description

--services-reflection

Enables unauthenticated access to the SGD Gateway reflection service.

By default, this service is disabled.

--services-reflection-auth

Enables authenticated access to the SGD Gateway reflection service.

By default, this service is disabled.

See Section C.11, “The Reflection Service” for more details about the SGD Gateway reflection service.

--routes-http-redirect

Enables the HTTP redirection service.

By default, this service is disabled.

--ipv6

Enables the IPv6 interface service. This service enables an SGD Gateway to bind to IPv6 interfaces, in addition to IPv4 interfaces.

By default, the IPv6 interface service is enabled for the Gateway.

Use the gateway config edit --binding command to configure the IPv6 interfaces that the Gateway binds to.

Examples

The following example enables authenticated access to the SGD Gateway reflection service.

# /opt/SUNWsgdg/bin/gateway config enable --services-reflection-auth

The following example enables the IPv6 interface service for the Gateway. The Gateway is reconfigured to listen for incoming proxy connections on TCP port 443 using a specific IPv6 interface.

# /opt/SUNWsgdg/bin/gateway config enable --ipv6
# /opt/SUNWsgdg/bin/gateway config edit --binding [2001:db8::1]:443
