Change passwords

You can use the Change Passwords page to change the password for the administrator user, and for any subsequently created users.

Note   On the AMI appliance the administrator password is not set by default. You must set the password before you log in to the Web Administration Interface for the first time. For more information, see Connect to the WAI on AMI.

Change a user password

To change the password for a user, click that user's name in the list of users.

Change admin password

Perform the following steps:

  1. Enter the new password for the user in the New password field.
  2. Confirm the new password in the New password (again) field.
  3. Click the Change button to save the new password.

Add new users and groups

You can add additional users and groups with different privileges to the appliance (for example, Administrator or Operator). For more details, see Manage users and groups.
