Chapter 67: Working with Price Ranges (WPRN)
Purpose: The Work with Price Range function defines various pricing ranges at which items are sold. These price ranges are for informational and reporting purposes only.

How to display this screen: Enter WPRN in the Fast path field at the top of any menu.

Allows you to enter a sequence number that was assigned automatically to the Price Range record. Numeric, 5 positions; optional. |

Allows you to enter the initial price in a pricing range. Numeric, 9 positions with a 4-place decimal; optional. |
To price |
Allows you to enter the ending price in a pricing range. Numeric, 9 positions with a 4-place decimal; optional. |

Create a price range |
Press F6 to advance to the Create Price Range Screen. |
Change a price range |
Enter 2 next to a price range to advance to the Change Price Range Screen. |
Delete a price range |
Enter 4 next to a price range to delete it. |
Display a price range |
Enter 5 next to a price range to advance to the Display Price Range Screen. |
To create: Press F6 on the Work with Price Range Screen.

The highest price within this pricing range. Numeric, 9 positions with a 4-place decimal; required. |
The system assigns the next available Seq # to the price range.
Note: You cannot overlap price ranges in this file. For example, you cannot create the following two price ranges: $5.00 - $12.00 and $6.50 - $10.00. Instead, you can create two separate price ranges: $5.00-$10.00 and $10.01 - $15.00.
Change: Enter 2 next to a price range at the Work with Price Range Screen to advance to the Change Price Range screen. See Create Price Range Screen and Work with Price Range Screen for a description of the fields on this screen.
You cannot change the Seq # field.
Display: Enter 5 next to a price range at the Work with Price Range Screen to advance to the Display Price Range screen. You cannot change any of the fields on this screen. See Create Price Range Screen and Work with Price Range Screen for a description of these fields.
