- When Guided Maintenance
prompts you to remove the component, label and disconnect the SAS
interface cables that are attached to the I/O module.After replacing the I/O module, you will be required to restore the SAS interface connectors to the same configuration as prior to replacement.

- Using your thumb
and forefinger, squeeze the release button toward the lever hole to
release the lever.

- Pull the lever
and remove the I/O module from the Drive Enclosure. Note: Be careful not to damage the connector pins.
