After you have installed Oracle FS System Manager (GUI) software package on a client workstation, you can run the application to access an Oracle FS System.
Field | Default value |
---|---|
Pilot IP address | 10.0.0.2 |
Login Name | administrator |
Password | pillar |
If the Pilot IP address has been changed to a customer-specific address, use that address.
If you configured the IP address to a DNS host name, you can use that host name to log into the Oracle FS System.
The login name does not change.
The password does not change. However, after you login with the default password, you will be prompted to enter a new password.
Must be eight characters to 16 characters in length
Cannot contain dictionary words
Must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one numeric character, and one special character
Document the password and keep the password secure.
Ensure that the Primary Administrator also obtains this password.
Set up and test an email address for the Primary Administrator.
Create one additional Administrator 1 account with a valid email address. Use the additional Administrator 1 or appropriate level accounts for routine system administration rather than the Primary administrator account.
If you exceed the maximum number of administrator login attempts, your account will disable. Use an Administrator 1 account, if one exists, to reset the password. The Primary Administrator and administrators who are assigned to the Administrator 1 role can change the password of any customer-defined administrator account without knowing the previous password. A Support administrator cannot reset the Primary Administrator password.
