Oracle FS System Manager (GUI) allows you to update the protocol properties of a Controller for Ethernet or Fibre Channel.
You can modify the following aspects of the
Controller ports:

The protocol that is used
-
Whether link aggregation is enabled

The management priority value used in link negotiation and identification for the aggregated ports
You can change port provisioning except for the following caveats:

Cannot change the port provisioning for Ethernet ports or for SAS ports.

All HBA ports must be provisioned identically. For example, if Port 0 is FC, the Port 1 must also be FC.
The system allows you to change port provisioning while the system is running. The system applies the port provisioning to both nodes in a Controller pair.
Important! Do not change port provisioning unless you are prepared for all clients to temporarily lose access. Changing port provisioning restarts the controller pair. This is a system restart.
