Your Support Services contract provides guidelines to replace field replaceable units (FRUs) and customer replaceable units (CRUs) in your Oracle FS System.
Based on the terms of your contract, you can perform the following actions:
Guided Maintenance in the GUI provides a step-by-step graphical representation of the hardware replacement process. Guided Maintenance in the GUI is the preferred method of hardware replacement.
Consult the appropriate Oracle FS System Service Guide for details.
Check the power supply fan filters annually for accumulated dust. If needed, vacuum the power supplies, even if no component replacement or repair is required. This type of maintenance does not require Guided Maintenance.
