Specifies the protocols that are allowed for accessing the logical volume.
Specifies that only designated SAN hosts can access this LUN using a specific, possibly different, LUN number on each of those hosts. If the LUN is mapped, the LUN number must be unique to the mapped SAN host.
Specifies all SAN hosts accessing this LUN use the same LUN number. Select this option to activate the LUN number selection drop-down list.
The LUN Controller Assignment option allows you to home the LUN copy on a Controller other than the Controller on which the source LUN is homed. The default is to home the copy on the same Controller as the source LUN.
Identifies the Controller to which the system should assign the LUN. Choose an available Controller node from the list.
Select a Controller node from the drop-down list. Use this option when you want to access the data from a particular port (port masking).
Displays the physical Controller ports to exclude (mask) so they cannot access the LUN.
Identifies the type of access protocol.
Identifies the name of the Controller.
Identifies the slot number of the Controller HBA.
Identifies the Controller port number.
Identifies the unique identifier of each Controller network port. For FC networks, this identifier is the World Wide Name (WWN).
You can map a LUN or Clone LUN to either a single host or a host group. The ‑host option specifies the ID or FQN of the customer host machine to be mapped to the LUN or Clone LUN. The ‑hostGroup option specifies the ID or FQN of the host group to be mapped to the LUN or Clone LUN.
Opens the dialog that allows you to create the LUN-to-host mapping based on your selections for host name and assign the LUN number that the host uses.
Opens the dialog that allows you to change the LUN mapped to the associated host.
Removes the LUN mapping for the selected SAN host.
