Create UPS Dialog

Creates and adds an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) device to the Oracle FS System using a simple network management protocol (SNMP).

Name

Identifies the name of the UPS device. UPS names must be unique across the Oracle FS System and must be 256 or fewer UTF‑8 characters.

IP Address

Identifies the IP address that is assigned to the external UPS device.

SNMP Community

The UPS device sends information to the Oracle FS System such as battery low.

Identifies a community for which a specific trap host should receive traps that the Oracle FS System generates. You can specify different community strings for each trap host so that multiple administrators can receive specific types of SNMP traps. The default community string is publicpublic (lower case). It is recommend you change the default community string.

Note: This community string entered here must match the community string configured on the UPS device.
